Fellowship and support

Clubs, YWCA Encore and hall hire

The YWCA of Townsville provides fellowship and support to club members. Three clubs meet on a regular basis: the Scrabble Club, the Card Club and the Wirrina Club.

The YWCA of Townsville also facilitates the running of the Encore program, which is a gentle exercise program for women following breast cancer.

The YWCA of Townsville hall - with a beautiful painted mural inside - is available for hire, and a public car park operates at the hall on a monthly fee basis.

Please note: The YWCA of Townsville is in the process of amalgamating with YWCA Brisbane and the YWCA of Downs & South West Queensland to form YWCA Queensland.
