BBC 100 Women has announced its list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2018.

On 5 September 2014 the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New-York held its’ first-ever panel discussion on child marriage. The panel, requested by last year’s first General Assembly resolution on child marriage, focused on the post-2015 development agenda and the development costs of child marriage. Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda, World YWCA General Secretary was invited to speak on the panel.
