YWCA of Taiwan is delivering a Young Women’s Leadership Program each term, which has resulted in seven groups of young women completing the program. Lectures from professionals provide a range of global views, and the young women are encouraged to remain engaged with the YWCA.

This program has been modelled on the highly successful YWCA Hong Kong Young Women’s Program and YWCA of Taiwan is discussing regional exchanges with other YWCA young women’s programs, possibly Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

One of the alumni writes about giving back to the latest group of participants:

“Last Sunday... we (one young woman from 3rd term, one from 4th, and I from the 5th term) shared our experiences with YWCA and international conferences with the freshmen, hoping to bring them more global views and what they can expect to learn by continuous involvement in YWCA.”
