In December 2009, we made a submission to this important inquiry dealing with issues like the regulation of the sector, the challenges of attracting and keeping staff in the face of low wages, and improving the effectiveness of government funding of the sector.

National Compact (2008)

A submission to the Compact Feedback Team on the development of a National Compact between the Federal Government and the not for profit sector.

The submission advocated for a statement recognising the diversity of women’s voices, as well as the particular challenges many women face, as well as applauding the decision to remove “gag” clauses which had restricted advocacy.
