CSW64 Delegation Application Form

Applications are open for a funded advocacy opportunity for a young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander woman or non-binary person to join the YWCA Australia delegation to 2020’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW64) at the United Nations in New York.

Applications for this funded position must fulfill the following criteria

  • Aged 18-30 years old at the time of CSW64
  • A member of YWCA Australia
  • Delegates must also be able to participate in all CSW64 activities in New York from 9 March to 20 March 2020

  • I am a current Ordinary Member of either YWCA Australia, YWCA Canberra or YWCA Hunter Region.

    I am able to commit the time required to attend CSW64 and bring my learnings back to YWCA and my communities.

    I am prepared to uphold the values and support the policy and advocacy positions of YWCA, whilst at CSW64 and while sharing my experience upon return to Australia.

    My referees are aware that I am applying for this opportunity. I understand that the YWCA may contact my referees for feedback about me relating to my application for this opportunity.

    I agree to the content in this application being used to judge my application, and if successful, being used to promote my position as part of the CSW64 delegation.
