Facebook Livestream Cooking Class: Aunty Rose Walker’s Johnny Cakes

In the tradition of damper and bush bread, Johnny Cakes are a staple in many First Nations communities.

Streamed live on Facebook, this cooking class will be led by Aunty Rose Walker, a local community member from Bundjalung country, Northern New South Wales.

All you need is self-raising flour, plain flour, vegetable oil and salt, and a couple of really big mixing bowls.
