NAIDOC Wellness Walk

Incorporating music, culture, storytelling, local language and the land and sea, the YWCA NAIDOC Wellness Walk provides an opportunity for women to connect and communicate on a cultural level, celebrating Aboriginal history while also discussing ways of working together for a shared future.
- 10am: Meet at Roy Marten Park, Taperoo
- 10.30am: Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
- 11am: Walk along the beach to the Semaphore foreshore
- 12.30pm: Lunch at Semaphore foreshore
Lunch will be provided at our destination with a yarning circle and more opportunity to come together in a safe space to form meaningful connections and build new relationships based on cultural understanding.
This is an accessible event. It is a wheelchair accessible route with accessible parking available at the start and finish points and accessible bathrooms nearby.
