This will ensure we continue to deliver measurable and meaningful impact towards a future where gender equality is a reality.Our Housing entities provide community and affordable housing for women and their families in Victoria, Queensland, and Northern Territory. ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a passionate Business Improvement Officer to join the team in our South Melbourne office. This is a part time (22.8 hours per week) 12-month maximum term contract role. The hours can be negotiated across the week and may be a combination of in office and work from home and some interstate travel may be required.The role is responsible for leading and project managing the implementation of the newly developed Women’s Housing Framework, which has redesigned business processes and the way we want to work to improve housing outcomes for women and their families.Key tasks include:Develop the project plan to implement, monitor and embed the Women’s Housing FrameworkDevelop and implement quality training and capability building approaches to support the embedding of the framework with community housing team membersAnalyse the application of the Framework, provide advice, and identify systems improvementsEstablish relationships with key stakeholders and partners that will support YWCA and the FrameworkReview and update policies and proceduresThe Framework has been developed, we will provide induction and training on the Framework. All you need to do is bring your business improvement, project and change management experience to embed the Framework.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Qualifications and/or experience in Training and Assessment (highly desirable)Experience in project management and change management principles and processesKnowledge of the Community Housing sectorExperience implementing improvement or change projectsHigh level interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with stakeholdersExceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time framesDemonstrated ability to engage with, motivate, train and mentor teamsMotivation to make a difference and hold the client at the centre of practice developmentThe ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across the organisationExperience in impact and outcomes measurement (desirable)Knowledge of the interpersonal and structural issues faced by people (and women specific) experiencing homelessness and/or housing risk (desirable) This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.  This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkA valid relevant state-based working with children permit.Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters. Don’t meet every single requirement?
