This is a part time (60.8 hours per fortnight) basis on a maximum term contract ending on 30 June 2023, with a possibility of an extension pending funding.The role is responsible for:Providing one-on-one and group based counselling supportDevelop and facilitate therapeutic intervention groups/activitiesUtilise best practice approaches to counselling and trauma recoveryABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling.Membership or eligibility for membership with a governing body such as PACFA, AASW or ACA.Thorough understanding and application of counselling theories and practices. This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.
