ABOUT THIS ROLE
Encore is an exercise and wellness program designed specifically for women who have experienced breast cancer or preventative surgery. Encore can help relieve some of the symptoms that may occur after treatment, through specially tailored land and pool-based exercises.
YWCA Australia is currently seeking a passionate Program Facilitator to join our Encore Team. The primary purpose of the role is to facilitate the Encore program and provide support to the state’s Encore Coordinator under direction of the National Encore Manager. This role is offered on a casual basis and is based in the Illawarra region.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:
- Current First Aid certificate (including CPR)
- Moderate level of fitness including the ability to swim 25m
- Current Driver’s License
- Strong supporter of Women’s Rights and willing to push the boundaries
- Team player who is approachable with strong interpersonal and listening skills together with the ability to empower
- Results focused, self-motivated and a self-starter who goes above and beyond
- Doesn’t settle, strives for continues improvement and has a high level of integrity
- A demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organisation that advocates for equality.
This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:
- Completion of a national criminal history check
- A valid relevant state-based working with children permit
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
