We aim to positively impact the lives of more than two million women, young women and girls by the end of 2023.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a Finance Manager to manage and lead the National Shared Services Team.  This role is offered on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week and is based in our Sydney office, overseeing national operations.The Finance Manager - Shared Services and Transformation, is responsible for leading and managing a national payroll function and team and overseeing the accounts receivable, banking and accounts payable functions and team.  This role will work closely with the CFO and National Finance and Reporting team to streamline and automate business processes and systems integration.This role will see you leading and managing a national team of finance professionals to achieve department and organisational objectives, while promoting our values and setting exceptional standards as we focus on continuous improvement.  ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Accounting degree, diploma or equivalent and extensive practical experience directly relevant to the position.Demonstrated experience managing a multi entity payroll function, including extensive knowledge of the payroll process and legislation and mentoring payroll employees responsible for processing a multiple entity payroll.Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing finance shared service functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and debtor managementDemonstrated experience managing individuals and teams.Exposure to one or more major payroll and electronic time and attendance systems along with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.Advanced knowledge of various software applications, with the ability to understand complex interfaces between software and reconciliation processes.Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid track record of influencing and the ability to guide stakeholders to an understanding of compliance and regulatory changes.Adapts well to and is able to lead, drive and advocate change in an organisation.Ability to build strong working relationships based on trust and collaboration across all levels of the organisation.Ability to communicate concisely and clearly and tailor communication when dealing with complex issues.Strong supporter of Women’s Rights and striving for equality through influencing, advocating and pushing boundaries.A demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organisation that advocates for equality.DesirableCA / CPA qualifiedExperience in managing large/national/complex payroll and AP functionsExperience in ADP Pay Force and NetSuiteKnowledge and experience within the not for profit sectorThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check.   INTERESTED?
