We aim to positively impact the lives of more than two million women, young women and girls by the end of 2023.ABOUT THIS ROLEDue to growth and transitional changes, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join our National Finance team on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week, located in our South Melbourne office. This role would suit someone who is looking to grow and develop their skills and be able to hit the ground running.The Finance Officer will help support the National Business Partner – Housing in developing and maintaining a strong relationship with our Housing client group and provide operational financial and reporting support. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient processing of YWCA Housing and YWCA National Housing records to ensure the integrity of all financial results. This role will closely coordinate with the National Finance and Shared Services Team based in Sydney.ABOUT YOUTertiary qualifications or diploma in finance or related field.Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Prior experience and knowledge of finance software systems.Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Excel and outlook.Enthusiastic, positive attitude, dedicated and hard workingHigh level attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Demonstrates commitment to continuously drive process improvement in all aspects of work and shows initiative and is proactive.Strong work ethic, highly motivated and understanding of confidentialityDemonstrated collaborative working style, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing demands.DesirableKnowledge and experience within the not for profit sectorExperience in use of NetSuite, ERP system or similar finance systemsExperience in a similar role in a social housing environment will be highly regardedPrior experience and knowledge of Chintaro or similar Housing system is preferred but not essentialThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check View position description here:https://rec.myrecruitmentplus.com/smejobsearch/jsponly/downloadFile.jsp?attId=57351 INTERESTED?
