ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Medical Accommodation Team in our Darwin location, on a casual basis.The role is responsible providing housekeeping support for Barbara James House including:Regularly maintaining individual rooms and common areasProvision of a linen service ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Ability to follow organisational policies and procedures, including but not limited to guidelines relating to infection control.Experience managing time and workload effectively whilst having a consistent standard of the tasks completed.Communication skills appropriate to the people accessing the services of the organisationRespect for cultural diversity and differencesAbility to work shift work including weekends and public holidaysThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkA valid relevant state-based working with children permit.Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
