ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Kitchenhand to join our Medical Accommodation Team in our Darwin location, on a casual basis.This dual role is responsible for:Supporting and assisting in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of the accommodation, commercial kitchen and dining areas within Barbara James House and Doctor Helen Phillipps Cottages.The role will also require simple food preparation and food service. ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Ability to follow organisational policies and procedures, including but not limited to guidelines relating to infection control and relevant Food Safety standards.Experience managing time and workload effectively whilst having a consistent standard of the tasks completed.Respect for cultural diversity and differencesAbility to work shift work including weekends and public holidaysCurrent NT Driver’s License This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkA valid relevant state-based working with children permit.Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
