This is a part time (45 hours per fortnight) basis on a maximum term contract ending on 30 June 2023. The working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8.30am to 4pm.The role is responsible for coordinating and delivering Kids 4 Life program activities including:Three weekly supported playgroups aimed at children 0-5 yearsEngaging with and supporting targeted families to build their parenting capacityProviding families with information and referrals to connect them with other support services ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Qualifications in Early Childhood or significant experience working in Early Childhood settings and demonstrated knowledge of Early Childhood developmentExperience designing and implementing a community-based early childhood programDemonstrated experience in working with families experiencing vulnerabilities, Indigenous families or families from a diverse background This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.
