We aim to positively impact the lives of more than two million women, young women and girls by the end of 2023.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator - Respectful Relationships Education to join our Service Delivery Team. This role is offered on a casual basis and is based in Adelaide. The Program Facilitator will ensure effective and efficient delivery of YWCA’s Respectful Relationships Education workshops with upper primary school aged children, predominantly in school settings. Duties of the role include pre-program preparation, program facilitation, stakeholder liaison, evaluation, continuous improvement and reporting. This position is a casual position and hours vary depending on the number of program/workshop bookings per term.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications (such as a degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Education etc) or working towards; or equivalent experience working in similar roles in the community services sector.Excellent group facilitation skills including ability to engage children and young people in a group setting.A demonstrated understanding of development, learning needs and learning styles of children and young people and ability to navigate complex group dynamics.Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a somewhat isolatedenvironment as well as in a team environment.A demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organisation that advocates for equality.Strong supporter of Women’s Rights and striving for equality through influencing, advocating and pushing boundaries.Demonstrated collaborative working style, with good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing demands.A valid DHS Working with Children Check.Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN-EC) Training or willingness to undertake prior to commencement.DesiredExperience working within a Not for Profit environment.A valid Driver’s License.This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment INTERESTED?
