Together we challenge the systems, structures and policies that act as barriers to women, especially young women, achieving their full potential. ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking an organised Restaurant Supervisor to join our Song Hotel team. This role is offered on a part time (25 hours per week) basis and is based in our Sydney CBD location.  There is also the opportunity for this role to increase to a full time basis in future. The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for efficiently, effectively and safely managing the restaurant operations to ensure customer, staff and guest satisfaction on a continuous basis; and to maintain the profitability by maximising sales and assisting in designing of promotions to enhance sales. The Restaurant Supervisor is a person in charge of the dining area and assuring smooth breakfast, lunch or dinner operation. This role is responsible for delivering a service that both meets customer expectations and is aligned with the organisation’s values in terms of product sourcing, staff management and public image. ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Demonstrated experience (min 3 years’ preferred) in a similar role leading a successful food & beverage teamQualification in supervision / management / food safety / hospitality or similarValid RSA certificateWorking as a Bartender and/or Barista experience (preferred)Strong written and verbal communicationAbility to run the Restaurant in autonomy during the absence of Venue ManagerA proven track record of excellent guest feedback, and demonstrated ability to accept, learn from and deal diplomatically with challenging feedbackProficiency in POS F&B system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointSolid demonstrated knowledge and understanding of food and work health & safety regulationsA keen interest in food and wine trends and developments This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.  This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkProof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters. Join our bold, inclusive and innovative team to make a real difference - lead the change.  APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 31 May 2022Position Description 14000 AUD Sydney 2000
