We aim to positively impact the lives of more than two million women, young women and girls by the end of 2023.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Youth and Mentoring Project Facilitator to join our Service Delivery Team. This role is offered on a part time (60.8hours per fortnight) basis on a maximum term contract ending on 30 June 2020 and is based in Campbelltown.The Youth and Mentoring Project Facilitator is responsible for the efficient and effective development and delivery of the Communities for Children, Paths to Possible program, increasing participant confidence, socialisation and positive engagement with learning and community connection.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Tertiary qualifications in a social sciences or humanities discipline, and/or provenability in facilitating a similar program.Demonstrated experience in facilitating change with young people in a strengths basedway that encourages them to build relationships, develop self-responsibility,self-esteem and confidence.Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating programswithin budget and meeting contractual requirements.Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships withDemonstrated collaborative working style, with good interpersonal and excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal.Complete understanding of, and training in, relevant child protection legislation.Sound computer skills including data entry and the use of Microsoft Outlook, Exceland Word.Strong supporter of Women’s Rights and striving for equality through influencing,advocating and pushing boundaries.A valid state-based working with children or working with vulnerable people check.Current Drivers LicenceThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment INTERESTED?
