YWCA CBF update – June MISSives

It’s a busy and exciting time for our Cyber Feminists (CBF)! Not a part of the CBF? Sign up now to join in on the fun.

First CBF virtual movie night

On 8 June, we ran our first CBF virtual movie night! A group of CBFers from around Australia joined us to watch The Breaker Upperers, a funny feminist flick from New Zealand. For the right price, BFFs Jen and Mel will ruthlessly end any romance. But when one grows a conscience, it threatens to derail their relationship. The film is full of laughs and friendship and we totally recommend it to stream for free on SBS on Demand, but it is rated M. A great time was had by everyone and we hear the calls for more and in person if possible, so watch this space! Any suggestions welcomed in the CBF chat.

New CBF Platform – coming soon!

On top of being our wonderful guest editor for the month, Priyanka Ashraf is also the CEO and tech project leader for our brand new CBF platform which is coming soon! We have run co-design workshops with a small working group of CBF members and are excited to provide a safe platform for CBF members to chat about issues important to them, connect with other feminists and mobilise on key activation points.

Want to be the first to find out when you can access this exciting new platform? Join the CBF today!
