HIPPY

Parents are their children’s first teacher. The Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngers (HIPPY), gives parents the tools and skills to prepare their kids for transition into school and beyond. The first year of the program begins the year before school, and the second year follows as parents learn to support their child’s learning and development at school.

Trained parent mentors meet regularly with families, and then families spend 10-15 minutes a day completing HIPPY activities with their children.
