Family Abuse Prevention Service

When women and their children are impacted by family and domestic violence, they often need support. The Early Intervention & Placement Prevention Family Abuse Prevention Service works with women and their children who have been affected by family and domestic violence, to reduce the impact of issues that affect at risk women and children and the likelihood of children entering and remaining in the child protection system.

The program is delivered using a three-month case management framework, which endeavours to meet with parents/carers and relevant children at intervals that best meet individual needs.
