Moving Up, High School Transition

The transition from primary school to high school can be tough. Links to Learning Moving Up is a transition program for students at risk of disengaging, helping them manage the change that comes with moving to high school.

The program is delivered in schools, one day per week for 30 weeks. It focuses on connecting students to their new school, its environment and routines by building resilience to managing change via the development of problem-solving skills.

School-based support is also themed throughout program activities, allowing the students to understand the benefits of support systems and how they can access these to improve their adjustment and ongoing education.
