World YWCA Board Member Nominations

Want to be part of a Board that has a direct link to positively impacting the lives of women, young women and girls?

YWCA Australia and our affiliates, YWCA Canberra and YWCA Hunter, are proud members of the global movement of YWCAs. World YWCA is the leader of our global movement and is currently inviting suitable candidates to nominate for the World YWCA Board.

YWCA Australia and our Affiliates, YWCA Canberra and YWCA Hunter, want to support and endorse at least two young women from Australia for the World YWCA Board. YWCA is a movement for young women and by young women – we value the voices and experiences of young women and seek to ensure their representation on the World YWCA Board.

Prospective candidates should have some experience in governance – you may have completed a Board Trainee program or have been a Director on a Board. You should have demonstrated some commitment to the YWCA movement and will be aged 30 or under in November 2023. Nominations close on 1 April 2023.

About the World YWCA Board
