We are pleased to share that our Darwin Team have been successful in receiving 3.99million in annual funding for our Specialist Homelessness Services across the next four years from the NT Government. This is an increase of 74% on our current funding and was a huge team effort throughout the funding application process.
This funding means our services in the Northern Territory will expand, growing our impact with clients as well as offering some exciting employment opportunities.
As well as funding for our existing programs, we will also be kicking off new programs or making changes to existing programs so we can extend our reach.
Implementation of our new programs and program changes will be a phased approach starting immediately and will be led by our General Manager, Northern Territory, Rachael Uebergang.
As part of implementation, we will be recruiting a number of new roles including: Leadership roles, Case Management, Youth Work, Program Facilitation and Housing Officer work. Anyone who is interested can keep an eye out on the Careers page of our website.
