YWCA Australia has developed an Impact Framework to track our progress towards our 10 year outcomes, according to our purpose and vision.  We want to learn, improve and grow, based on evidence and the perspectives of the people we are working with

‘The Framework asks ‘are we making a difference’ across our housing, service delivery and advocacy activities. It is framed around six domains of impact, headline outcomes and measures of change.

Five domains of impact relate to client and resident outcomes. A sixth domain assesses our organisational influence in systems change for gendered housing solutions and homelessness supports.

 Our Impact Framework asks:

  • Are we making a difference?
  • What is the change we want to see?
  • How do we measure this?
  • How will we act on evidence, for better outcomes for the people we work with?

We are piloting the Impact Framework in stages – testing, trying, learning and refining as we go.  Over time, we will have an Impact Framework that measures our impact across service delivery, housing and advocacy activities, with a YWCA Impact Report that shares insights, learnings and evidence.
