  • Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per annum + Super
  • Benefits: Salary packaging up to $18,550

About the Team

The YWCA Group Finance Team supports accounting functions across the organisation. Reporting to the Accountant - locally known as the Accountant – Accounts Payable, Payroll and Banking - you will join a team of dedicated finance professionals contributing to operational effectiveness in an organisation committed to achieving gender equality

About the role

As a Finance Coordinator, you will support core transactional functions within the finance team and be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and procure-to-pay processes.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting accounts payable and procure-to-pay processes
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems and housing systems (Zavanti)
  • Manage tenant records and bank reconciliations
  • Support cash flow reporting and assist with month-end financial tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve queries.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience in accounts payable or procure-to-pay functions, with the ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting or CRM systems such as Zavanti, NetSuite or MS Dynamics (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to resolve queries and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to gender equality and social change, aligned with YWCA’s mission and values.
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting and experience in the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
