Be a part of a feminist organisation that is dedicated to making a future where gender equality is a reality. Our Service Delivery - Eastern Regions team is seeking a dedicated Case Manager who thrives working independently and remotely, and is passionate about making a positive impact.

  • Location: Dharawal Country (Bowral)  
  • Work type: Hybrid stand stand-alone role - work from home and in the community
  • Opportunity: Part-time, Max Term Contract until December 2025
  • Hours: 3 or 4 days a week (22.8 - 30.4 hours a week)

About the team

The Service Delivery – Easter Regions, provides a range of services in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Case Worker, works within our Domestic and Family Violence Programs.  This role provides service coverage in Bowral and works within a geographically spread team across the Southern Highlands and the Shoalhaven regions. 

About the role

As a Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Case Worker, you will provided trauma-informed, client-focused support and case management to victim/survivors and families, with a focus on targeted early intervention.

In this role you will:

  • Support victim/survivors of domestic and family violence using a trauma-informed approach.
  • Conduct safety planning, assessments, and case coordination to meet client needs.
  • Deliver client-focused casework including referrals, advocacy, and counselling.
  • Monitor service effectiveness and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Build strong partnerships with local agencies to enhance client support.
  • Complete administrative tasks in line with service agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Degree in social work, psychology, community welfare, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of DFV, sexual violence, ADVO legislation, family law, and child protection systems.
  • Experience in case management with women, children, and young people affected by DFV or homelessness (highly desirable).
  • Skilled in trauma-informed, strengths-based practice and managing complex caseloads.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in case documentation, safety planning, CMS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check.
  • Able to work independently, including in hybrid and lone worker settings.
