Congratulations to the Y Connect Program for becoming a finalist in the Training & Education category of the 2025 Business disABILITY Awards!
Established in 2012 by disability advocates Kim Stokes, Paul Wilson and David Wallis, The Business disABILITY Awards of Australia recognises businesses and individuals across Toowoomba and Darling Downs who support, educate and employ people living with a disability.
It is exciting to have Y Connect recognised in this way. As a leadership program for women with disabilities, Y Connect supports women to become leaders in their careers at every stage, whether when re-entering the workforce, becoming a leader in their workplace or creating their own business. We support participants through group and individual workshops, counselling and also through bursaries which can be used to purchase specialised equipment or support an individual to do a particular course to assist them to achieve their goals.
Congratulations to everyone in the team for this well deserved recognition.
