Join a feminist organisation committed to building a future where gender equality is a reality. We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Case Worker to join our Homelessness Services team on a six month maximum term contract with the possibility of extension!

  • Location:  Sydney | Gadigal Land
  • Type: Office & one day remote working
  • Contract: Full-Time | Maximum Term Contract to 31-Jan-26
  • Award:  SCHADS Award 2010 – Level 4
  • Salary: $44.58 an hour + Super
  • Benefits: Salary packaging up to $18,550

About the team

The Homelessness Services team provides holistic case management to individuals and families across the Sydney region who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Through strong partnerships with local agencies, the team works to stabilise tenancies and connect clients with safe, affordable, and sustainable housing solutions.

About the role

As a Case Worker you will provide holistic case management, including brokerage and transitional accommodation, to help clients stabilise tenancies and secure safe, sustainable housing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver effective case management 
  • Assist clients in securing and sustaining appropriate accommodation 
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and service providers 
  • Support program compliance and evaluation 
  • Maintain high-quality case notes

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and experience working with children.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong administrative and technical skills
  • Commitment to gender equality and social change, aligned with YWCA’s mission and values.
