  • Salary: Social & Community Services 5 | $51.00 to $53.31 per hour + Super

About the team

The Homelessness Services team provides holistic case management to individuals and families across the Sydney region who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Through strong partnerships with local agencies, the team works to stabilise tenancies and connect clients with safe, affordable, and sustainable housing solutions.

About this opportunity

This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to oversee a small team within the Homelessness Services Team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality case management aligned with performance outcomes
  • Supervising, mentoring, and supporting team members, including providing complex case management support
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and referral services
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with reporting standards
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and values-driven work environment

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in Youth Work, Social Work, or a related field
  • Proven experience supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with strong case management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise team members, especially in complex client situations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy and professionalism across diverse audiences
  • Commitment to safe, inclusive, and values-driven practice, with a focus on continuous improvement and client outcomes
