This will ensure we continue to deliver measurable and meaningful impact towards a future where gender equality is a reality.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Accommodation Worker to join our team at Barbara James House. This role is offered on a casual basis and is based in Darwin.An Accommodation Worker at Barbara James House provides non-medical, accommodation assistance to guests accessing cancer (or other hospital) treatment from rural and remote areas. This is a shift work position working on a roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Key responsibilities include checking guests in and out of their accommodation, completing invoices and processing payments, managing reservations, operations, and sales administration functions. ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Ability to communicate with guests and colleagues in a polite, professional and friendly manner at all times.Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and undertaking simple planning and organisation of work activities.Ability to work within a socially diverse environment and show respect for cultural diversity and social differences.Ability to operate a computerised reservation system and undertake cash handling, data management and other clerical duties as required.Strong supporter of Women’s Rights and willing to push the boundaries.Team player who is approachable with strong interpersonal and listening skills together with the ability to empower.Results focused, self-motivated and a self-starter who goes above and beyond. This position will require the successful candidate to undergo pre-employment screening.  This will include a national criminal history record check, relevant state-based working with children permit and proof of Covid-19 vaccination. You will also be required to hold and maintain a Senior First Aid Certificate and current NT driver’s license. Join our bold, inclusive and innovative team to make a real difference - lead the change.  APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 11pm 13th May 2022Position Description 25 AUD Darwin
