This role is offered on a part time (45.6 hours per fortnight) basis on a maximum term contract ending on 17 December 2020 and is based in our Goonellabah office.The Links to Learning Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective development, coordination and delivery of the Lismore Year 9/10 girls Links to Learning program (rYse Up) in line with best practice, research, contractual requirements, policies & procedures and risk management guidelines.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant we are seeking will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, social work, social sciences or similarExperience working with young people from a strengths-based approachExperience developing, implementing and evaluating educational programs in line with budget and contractual requirementsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholdersStrong verbal and written communication skills, including sound IT skillsDemonstrated understanding of NSW Child Protection legislation and NSWMandatory Reporting proceduresHave a first aid certificate or willingness to obtainHave a current NSW Driver’s licenseThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment.
