This will ensure we continue to deliver measurable and meaningful impact towards a future where gender equality is a reality.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our CASY House team on a casual basis.The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for young people to resolve crisis needs by developing and implementing strength-based, trauma informed support plans.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Previous experience in a Youth Work role, or similar.Completed or studying towards a Cert III in Community Services and/or Youth Work.An understanding of the complex issues relating to youth homelessness, particularly youth in crisis.Availability to perform shift work including weekends and public holidays.This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.  This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkA valid relevant state-based working with children permit. Don’t meet every single requirement?
